Cocoa growing and chocolate making
Tree to bar tour. It’s in the farm a magic place near from the Corcovado National Park, 30 minutes from Puerto Jiménez. In the farm you can enjoy of the chocolate and the peace of the nature, if you are lucky you could see some wild animals like birds, monkeys, butterflies, etc.
You will learn the whole the process to make chocolate, since it is a fruit and how to harvest, fermented, dried, roast and finally make your own chocolate bar to your taste.
A local lunch is served you at the middle of the tour made in a traditional wood stove and fondue. After lunch you will have time for relaxing with a chocolate facial which is amazing for the skin.
The farm is located in an amazing place very close to the National Park Corcovado which means that part of the journey is on dirt roads so it’s necessary a 4×4 car. We don’t include transportation. However, If you don´t have 4×4 car tell us and we will try to make your visit possible.
